Tigh Mhor – Ideal for 4 – 6 (with 2 possible extra child beds)
This is a good family sized cottage with two double bedrooms downstairs and four single beds in the loft room above, so sleeping up to 8. As with Tigh Beag you enter through the utility room, which has a tiled floor for wellies and lots of hooks for coats, a washing machine, tumble drier, sink and worktop, fridge/freezer and a drying rack for clothes.
The living room is spacious, with a vaulted two-storey ceiling, two large sofas, plus an armchair set around a traditional stone fireplace, with a wood-burner and a TV incorporating a DVD player alongside it. Behind the seating area is the extendable dining tables, with seating for 8. There is a good-sized open plan kitchen, which has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with a good selection of pots, pans, oven dishes, utensils, scales, baking tins etc. Tea towels and oven gloves are provided.
As well as the two double bedrooms downstairs there is a shower room with toilet, sink and heated towel rail. Upstairs there is one large attic room with four single beds, and a bathroom with toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
Each cottage has a travel cot and high chair.
The cottages each have a wood burning stove where complimentary wood is provided on arrival and more can be bought from the farm as needed. There are also electric convector heaters in all rooms and electricity is covered in the cost.
Bed Linen is not provided and can be hired at £5 per bed (includes hand towels) regardless of size of bed. Please book the linen on making your booking for the cottage. Bath towels are not provided.
